Ingredients

  • 12 ounces (about 3 cups) of fresh cranberries
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup sweetener
  • 2 teaspoons orange zest (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients into a saucepan.
  2. Bring to a boil. Stir constantly.
  3. Reduce heat and simmer. Sauce is ready when cranberry skins burst open.
  4. Continue simmering until cranberry sauce reaches desired consistency.
