This recipe makes classic sour cream dill dip that is naturally gluten-free and low carb.
- Fresh dill
- Full fat sour cream
- Garlic
- Salt and pepper
- Lemon juice
🔪 Instructions
This simple dip is one of my favorite low carb snacks. I serve it with low carb vegetables and some pita chips for sharing with my non-carb counting friends and family.
Finely chop dill, mince the garlic and squeeze the juice from a lemon wedge into a medium bowl. Add sour cream and a pinch of salt and pepper. Stir to combine. Transfer to a small bowl for serving.
Substitutions
- You can substitute fresh garlic with garlic powder or onion powder to taste.
- Substitute sour cream with full fat Greek yogurt for Greek yogurt dill dip.
- You can also use mayonnaise or room temperature cream cheese thinned with heavy cream. Check labels for carb counts.
- If you don't have fresh dill, use dried dill.
