Total carbohydrates is 1 gram per 2 tablespoons of dip.

This recipe makes classic sour cream dill dip that is naturally gluten-free and low carb.

🔪 Instructions

This simple dip is one of my favorite low carb snacks. I serve it with low carb vegetables and some pita chips for sharing with my non-carb counting friends and family.

Finely chop dill, mince the garlic and squeeze the juice from a lemon wedge into a medium bowl. Add sour cream and a pinch of salt and pepper. Stir to combine. Transfer to a small bowl for serving.

Substitutions

  • You can substitute fresh garlic with garlic powder or onion powder to taste.
  • Substitute sour cream with full fat Greek yogurt for Greek yogurt dill dip.
  • You can also use mayonnaise or room temperature cream cheese thinned with heavy cream. Check labels for carb counts.
  • If you don't have fresh dill, use dried dill.

🍽 How to serve

Serve with fresh veggies for dipping:

  • Cucumber slices
  • Cherry tomatoes
  • Bell peppers
  • Carrots
  • Celery
  • Broccoli
  • Endive spears
  • Add olive oil and more lemon juice to make it into a salad dressing
